I declare Winter has started!
Jiminy Peak open on Saturday and I got in a half a day of snowboarding.
back in the Berkshires, we only got a dusting of snow but it looks like you people mid state got a lot more.
The kids and I built a pretty good snow fort (look in the pictures section). But my back is paying for it today. :-)
I think this has to be the largest snow fort I've built from "scratch", meaning I didn't use a snow blower or some existing pile of snow. The recycling bin worked really well at forming snow blocks. Of course the kids helped for a total of 10 minutes (which is up from last year) and then ran around until everyone was back inside except me!!
