Quote of the Day

It's fascinating to think that all around us there's an invisible world we can't even see. I'm speaking, of course, of the World of the Invisible Scary Skeletons.

My story starts last week when I told Mummy and Daddy that my bottom teeth were hurting, so Mummy had a look and one of my big teeth was trying to come through the gum in the wrong place, off to the dentist we went. They took an x-ray and yep, there they were, all my new teeth squished together like sardines! (and I don't even know what a sardine is!) basically the two, new, bottom front teeth are as big as the four little ones that were there. The dentist then told us to make room for the new teeth he'd have to pull out the four baby teeth...ouch! That's what we did yesterday...I woke up very excited and then as we were on our way to the dentist I got a little quiet. First they put a mask on my nose, I'm not too sure what that even did, then they rubbed some gel on my gums so that I couldn't feel the shot they were about to give me, it didn't work very well as I felt the shot a little bit and that made me sad. We then had to wait so I couldn't feel anything by my teeth, it felt very weird, then the dentist came back to take the teeth out. Dun Dun Dah....The first tooth came out very easily and then the rest took a little tugging which made me very sad again. Mummy told me I was very brave. I had to bite down on some gauze to stop the bleeding, that was kinda gross as I was drooling all over the place too! I then had trouble trying to decide whether I should put them under my pillow for the Tooth Fairy all at once or spread it out over four nights, we asked Zoe and she thought I should do one each night for four nights, four different surprises! YEY! The Tooth fairy came last night and left me five gold dollar coins. I can't wait to see what she brings tonight. You can see photos in the picture section. |
