Ok, so there isn't alot of documentation to go with this..  Maybe I'll
create an install script in the future that will prompt you for the right
answers but for now you need to figure it out yourself. :-)

Pre-Requisites:
	Apache, php3, mysql, and phplib.

1. Create the database and tables..
	- mysql -uroot -p <phonebook.sql

2. You need to make sure your phplib is insalled and configured correctly.
         I use the auto_prepend option in php3.ini and I also have the
         phplib directory added to the include path. As long as you have
         local.inc in the same directory as phonebook.php3 and . in your include
         path like below you won't need to modify your global local.inc

Example snipits from php3.ini

auto_prepend_file	= prepend.php3
include_path	=       .:/home/httpd/phplib-7.2b/php
                        ^
           The period in the begining of the path is very important

3. Edit local.inc to have the proper login and password for the database.

4. Edit phonebook.php3 to reference your company logo if you wish. 
        Look for $logo at the top.

5. You should be all set to start it up. Point your browser to the 
       phonebook.php3 file.  You can click on the blue ball in the header to
       bring up the admin interface to start creating entries. The admin login
       is username : admin    password : changeme

6. I think everything else is pretty self explanatory..  Drop me an email if you
       have suggestions or patches..  Or better docs.. :-)

--------========++++++ Notes on upgrading from 1.1 to 1.2 +++++++======-------

You need to make sure you don't have any duplicate entries in your database 
before you convert.  Unfortunatly I haven't thought enough about an easy way
to do this.  I don't think MySql can handle sub-querys so unless someone emails
me with how to do it your stuck.  If you don't remove duplictae entries its not
horrible,  its just that the last ALTER command will fail.  And you could end
up putting duplicates in your database. :-)

To convert your 1.0 or 1.1 database to work with this version just run the
following SQL command:

mysql -u root -p phonebook <from1.1-1.2.sql

after being prompted for your password the updates should take place.

I changed the field names to better describe themselves.  Since the export
option is generic and just shows whatever the names are in the database. Also
after I get the views working people will be able to add there own fields in.

You may notice your phonenumbers look funny..  To make it more friendly to
international users I changed the hard coded xxx-xxx-xxxx to just numbers and 
dashes and pluses.  But to do this correctly meant changing the phone fields to
varchars. The import section checks for digits and the plus and minus sign.
The normal edit and add screen will take in whatever you type..  I may add
some verification later..

anyway..  It seems pretty stable here.. Let me know how it works for you!
