So you want to setup a webcam so that your friends can stare at your ugly face for hours on end. Or you have a really cute girlfriend with broadband who doesn't notice that you took the red led out of her camera.

Well if your like me you set one of these up and was dissapointed with the quality of the picture. First the cameras used for webcams are usually subpar.

When I first started working at Community Newspapers I quickly learned the programming language Perl. The best way to learn anything is to have a project or goal to accomplish. One of my first goals was to create an online phonebook for the company intranet. This project not only taught me Perl but HTML and SQL.

Before this project I used Perl to do everyday Unix Admin tasks.

I finally uploaded some pictures of the rocket launcher. Now remember I didn't think up the design, I just followed the Plans. The next step will be building a bigger rocket out of 2 liter bottles. This will allow me to perfect the symetric splice technique before I waste alot of 3 liter bottles. :-)
